Synopsis

When “Lady” Sandra Abbott discovers that her husband of forty years is having an affair with her best friend she seeks refuge in London with her estranged, older sister Bif. The two could not be more different—Sandra is a fish out of water next to her outspoken, serial dating, free spirited sibling. But different is just what Sandra needs at the moment, and she reluctantly lets Bif drag her along to a community dance class, where gradually she starts finding her feet and romance as she meets her sister's friends, Charlie, Jackie and Ted. This colorful, defiant and energetic group of friends start to show Sandra that retirement is in fact only the beginning, and that divorce might just give her a whole new lease on love and life.

It’s not the only contender, as both Dietrich and von Sternberg in Hollywood: The Criterion Collection and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Set 2: Stardust Crusades Arc are also worthy of that title. In the end, I rolled a dice and Blockers came out on top. More...

Disobedience was close behind with an average of $47,479 in five theaters. The final film in the $10,000 club was Let the Sunshine In with an average of $19,850 in two theaters. More...

Love After Love

Many of the films on this week’s list are good, but not great. Some are like After Louie, good enough to rent on VOD, but not worth a trip to the theaters. Fortunately, there are some that are worth a trip to the theaters, including Love After Love and Outside In. More...
