Spider-man Swings into IMAX

Spider-man 2's the latest Hollywood blockbuster to be super-sized for the IMAX screen. The Marvel Comics icon opens in IMAX theatres on July 23rd, however, like all recent films to play on both IMAX and regular movie screens don't expect to see separate box office reports for its IMAX earnings. They will most likely just be lumped in with regular box office numbers.

Also of note, NASCAR: The IMAX Experience topped $15 million this past weekend. It's the first IMAX film in two years to do so and sixteenth to do so of all time.
