Looking out for Number One
April 5, 2005
Look at Me was the lone film to top $10,000 on the per theater charts this week. The French film took in nearly $70,000 on 6 screens for a $11,598 average.
This past week also saw some milestones reached for several Per Theatre Charts alumnus:
- Million made it to $1 million over the week and will be at $2 million by this time next week.
- Melinda and Melinda also reached $1 million over the week and is very close to hitting $2 million.
- As expected, Downfall hit $3 million and the film is doing very well, especially for a foreign language film.
- The Upside of Anger which earned $4 million by the end of last weekend earned $4 million this weekend alone. On the other hand, it is unlikely to enter the top five or expand to 2000 or more theatres. That does mean it should appear on this list a few more times.
