International Top of the Chart - Quarter Billion for Bond

Quantum of Solace saw its weekend haul sliced in half, but it still added $54.85 million on 10,465 screens in 65 markets for a total of $250.68 million internationally. This is likely already more than the film will make domestically, and it still has openings in Australia, Spain, and Japan still to go.
The film's best market of the weekend was Germany where it remained in first place with $8.16 million on 833 screens for a total of $26.25 million after two. Its best market overall is the U.K. where it has pulled in $60.20 million after three weeks, including $7.72 million on 549 screens this past weekend. As for the film's new markets, the only one of note was Mexico where it opened in first place with $2.30 million on 504 screens. This is about 50% more than Casino Royale's opening in 2006.

It has already topped Casino Royale's totals in more than a dozen markets, and should be able to top its international total of $429 million before it is done.
