Per Theater Chart: Along for the Ride

The only film to top $10,000 on this week's per theater chart was Ride Along, which earned an average of $15,590. This is an amazing result for a January release. In fact, it would have been amazing for a limited release.
There were many other new limited releases this past weekend, some of which did very well. Like Father, Like Son earned an average of $8,250 in two theaters. American Mustang was right behind with $7,906 in one theater, while Generation War earned $7,386, also in one theater. On the other, Big Bad Wolves bombed with an average of $1,057 in six theaters. The final new limited release was Life of a King, which was even worse with an average of $269 in sixteen theaters.
