Synopsis
Legendary performer Frank Sinatra had his share of tumultuous affairs, but it was his well-publicized love for MGM’s mercurial, sultry screen siren, Ava Garner in the 1950’s that had the tabloids abuzz for one of Hollywood’s most infamous affairs. While campaigning for the dream role of Columbia Pictures’ Angelo Maggio in “From Here to Eternity,” the role which he hoped would be the push to salvage his career, the destitute Sinatra finds salvation in the arms of the woman he pursues at all costs; the woman whom he would come to immensely love and ultimately lose. Marked by passion, bourbon, scandals and infidelities - Ava’s abortions and Frank’s suicide attempts were the rage of the rags as their hapless romance was parodied by the press, who play them off each other - Frank and Ava’s story is what Hollywood romance legends are made of.
